Mankind was but one ummah, but differed (later). Had it not been for a Word that went forth before from your Lord, their differences would have been settled between them. (10:19) Nelson Muslims has been set up with an aim to bring together the local Muslims; to encourage co-operation between the various masajid, and to create a portal for all local Muslims to come back to, as well as provide correct and beneficial information to Muslims, and anybody interested in learning more about Islaam.
We are not affiliated with any organization, and nor are we affiliated with any particular masjid.
Nationalism, racism, and sectarianism are diseases widespread in our communities - and are far from the Pleasure of Allah. They defeat the objective of 'this Ummah being one'.
We aim to take correct benefit from all, and refrain from any matters that cause confusion, disunity or disputes amongst the Muslims, and ultimately cause the displeasure of Allah Almighty. Allah swt says:
If Allah so willed, He could make you all one Ummah: but He leaves straying whom He pleases, and He guides whom He pleases: but you shall certainly be called to account for all your actions. (16:93)
This website has been designed purely to put aside the differences between the Muslims, in particular in this locality, and to create a platform free of difference. We do not aim to create a sect, a division, nor a cult! "Verily, those who divide their religion and break up into sects (all kinds of religious sects), you (O Muhammad SAW) have no concern in them in the least. Their affair is only with Allâh, Who then will tell them what they used to do." (23:52)
We are working voluntarily for the sake of Allah, for our future Muslim community, and for our Aakhirah. We do not accept nor agree with splitting away from the Muslim Ummah to create a division.
"But people have cut off their affair (of unity) between them, into sects; each party rejoices in that which is with itself." (30:32)
As individuals, we intend to make the difference we can in bringing the Muslims together. Insha Allah if all communities were to work together, no doubt our differences would decrease and we’d be tolerant of our fellow brothers and sisters, no matter what their views. With this one goal in mind, we intend to arrange activities throughout the local and surrounding areas, and work to increase our imaan, and for our place in Jannah. May this site be a source of benefit to all. Any wrong is from ourselves and shaytaan, and any good is from Allah. We depend on your contributions, financially and practically, in making this project a success.

And verily this Ummah of yours is One Ummah and I am your Lord and Cherisher: therefore fear Me (and no other). (23:52)
